Visitors may choose to relax around the cottage; take leisurely walks along the nearby Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal; discover the numerous examples of industrial architecture and historic tram roads or perhaps use the nearby National cycle route. The more adventurous can be challenged by the numerous mountains in the area or tackle the ‘Tumble Challenge‘ as featured in the cycling Grande Prix of Wales. An evening relax in the outdoor hot tub will help ease any tired muscles.
Fancy a day off from exercise? We are conveniently situated to visit the market town of Abergavenny, picturesque Crickhowell and the World Heritage Site at Blaenavon - home to The Ironworks and Big Pit Mining Museum. Other sites of industrial interest are scattered throughout the Valleys. Monmouth, Brecon and the book town of Hay on Wye are a little further away. and we are minutes from the A465 which links into the road systems accessing Cardiff, Swansea, Hereford and Bristol. |
